Getting from the airport to Santiago city center.

When you aterrizáis in Compostela many you ask as you can get to the city centre. It is located 14 kilometres from the airport, and get from one point to another is very simple. If your your initial idea is not to rent a car, you can do so at the airport, the city has a public transport that will facilitate your access any part of it. 

You have 2 options: taxi or bus. 

• If you decide to go by taxi to have a stop just in front to the passenger terminal. Taxi travel is about fifteen minutes approximately and this will take you right to the place that you indicate to the driver. The advantage is that you will live where you want and only will share seat with who you choose. Taxi service to Santiago de Compostela costs 21 € and the journey takes about 20 minutes. 

• If your choice is to take the bus the city has a regular line departing half-hourly departures towards Galicia square Terminal. During the tour make several stops in the calle San Lazaro, the rose, Avenida de Lugo or bus station, among others. The duration of the journey to the Center is about 25 minutes and the ticket price is 3 euros. 

Have the option to pick up the ticket for round-trip it will cost you just five euros. Bus service is available from 6:45 to the 00: 45 in the morning and from 6 am until midnight in the case of the return journey to the airport.

A third option, when you stay at our hotels, is the possibility of hiring a transfer with us that will pick up you at the airport when you arrive and you will take back when you finish your stay at the Compostela Net Hotels.
